  1. Love the Elvin Bishop release, it’s just good time blues music. The Maggie Koerner is killer because she’s just a fantastic singer and the music is fairly stark and atmospheric with some Zep undertones but it’s only four songs. Witchery is blackened thrash with some heavy, heavy vocals but I love it. Massive Attack is really trippy and spacy with various drum loops and samples but you have to be in the right mood to listen to it. The Clutch stuff walks the line between their older style and new, especially vocally as Fallon used to have more of a straight ahead bark and is now a little more expressive and tuneful. Black Star Riders might be their best and Marcus King Band is a newer band that you may like- leans a little bit Govt Mule/Allmans with a more soulful singer.

Rest of the stuff is generally good overall.
